Ugh More Snow Today

Happy Monday Everyone! it's cloudy here today and we waiting for....yes...more snow. The predicted amounts is maybe up to 6 inches but who knows.
I had some bills to pay this morning (online) and I realized I haven't had a heating bill since December. Don't know how it fell through the cracks and what's even more crazy is they haven't even called for a payment. Is my heat going to be free this winter?? 
So, when I get off the computer I'm going to have to call and see what's going on. I just hope they don't hit me with a huge bill or any late payment fees.
Then I have to call my insurance agent. The house insurance is due in a few days and it's just easy to call him and pay it over the phone.
Other than that it's a routine day here.....house chores, laundry and deciding what to have for dinner.
I'm thinking I might marinate chicken since it's already defrosting. I'm in the mood for a lemon chicken tonight and will decide on the sides later on.
Right now I'm working on my second cup of coffee and dinner seems like it's too far away to decide right now.

I have had a busy morning too and have a full day and night ahead of me to go also with my online work and getting things done around the house also. Our weather did warm up today. Hope it melts some more of our snow and ice here.
Lemon chicken sounds good. We had some dressed-up baked chicken last night along with a dressed-up baked potato.

I don't know if this will change to rain but so far it looks just heavy flakes that are accumulating pretty fast.

That is horrible! You can't get a break with the snow. How much do you still have on the ground? We have very little at this point. I think it will all be gone by Wednesday.

It's really hard to tell. Some melts and then it snows again and on and on we go. I'd say roughly about 12 inches still on the ground and now new stuff will be adding to it. This has been the worse snowy winter I can remember

Paige would love some of that snow as their areas had been to dry up in Canada. We had a few flurries this morning and could get more this evening, but I hope not.

All told we got about 6 inches. The snow removal company is here now clearing the driveways and sidewalks

@Marilynda1225 it's good they came earlier this time. Has a lot of the other snow your already had before melted?
I need to go outside and do some shoveling at the end of the driveway so we don't get stuck going in or out. I will be heading out there once I'm done with my coffee but hopefully before too much melting starts which could mean it's harder to walk in the surface.

I had a good day and since I didn't have to go anywhere the snow,wasn't much of a bother. I'm still counting the days till spring though.

We had snow overnight then it turned into rain.
It is above freezing and the rain has stopped but everything is melting and it is damp outside.
Its good to see the snow pack melt gradually a few days here and there so that there isn't any major flooding come spring.
Its my day off and I am enjoying it now that I am back home again.

You're teasing me with your weather report. We had snow overnight and will have more tonight. Lemon chicken sounds good. I'd go with mashed potatoes, but that's me. I don't know what vegetable I'd choose though. I'm having fish.

You would love it here this winter Valerie. The snow looks gorgeous I have to admit. I'm not a big fan normally because I'm out and about and am afraid of falling but since the pandemic I haven't been out much so it hasn't really bothered me. Of course I'm still counting the days til spring.I
We decided on sauteed zucchini and went with your idea of mashed potatoes.

We had some flurries mixed in with rain overnight. Now it's just a cold rainy, sleeting Monday here. I think I will make some more soup for dinner. Seems like the right meal on a cold damp day.
Mom in law had trouble with her power bill in Dec/Jan. not getting it. Finally got it straightened out. Got lost somewhere in the mail. Always something.

I hate late bill. I had one like maybe years ago. They didn't send one in a month and suddenly, a huge bill! It annoyed me to the max. I even complained about it, even though I know I still need to pay in the end. Not like they're going to give a discount or anything. I even asked them whether it's my fault that they're late at reading my bill and then gave me the huge bill like that. After ranting like five minutes, they allowed me to pay twice. Still dissatisfied, but couldn't do anything about it.
Lesson learnt afterwards, I usually would pay at least a small amount if I don't received my bill.

Beat of luck to you and I hope you don't get too much snow, I remember one winter back in Latvia it started snowing and kept on going until we had snow in our garden up to the waist,

I hope the snow does not come. Do the pups like to play in the snow? That would be nice if it were free. When I did not get my gas bills in the mail I had to call a few times to get it online. I hope you did not get much snow.
