I have been promising you a photo of the mural on the wall of Wellington Weir in Collie. As the painting 8,000 square metres, it has been extremely difficult to put into one photo. In the end I gave up. As you can see in the collage, one half was in shade and the other half in sunlight.
Based on old photographs, the colours are neutral and sepia tones. I’m sorry it’s not a better shot but it’s the best I could do. Maybe if and when we get the drone working, I’ll be able to put up a better one.

There's nothing wrong with the photographs you're showing here. I think you did a fine job. I will be interested in seeing how it looks using the drone to take the photos, though.

@JudyEv It always takes me a few tries with a new drone to get it to do what I want. Don't worry, you guys will get it figured out soon enough.

@DaddyEvil There is a magical photo of the wall taken from a drone. The guy would have been thrilled with it.

You did a good job at getting the pictures. Something that big would not be easy. They did a wonderful job on it

Thanks. It is such a big expanse and half being in shadow didn't help either.

Capturing such a big thing is always tough.
Yet it still shows a lot.
Wonderful effort !
This must be a well promoted tourist place !

@JudyEv
Yes and I am not sure if Indian cricket players except Sachin Tendulkar would be as famous in Australia?

@JudyEv The cars at the bottom probably look like little ants compared to that mural.

Are you going to use drones for taking photos? That's exciting and I will surely wait for it.
Thanks for sharing this picture. That's a really huge mural and definitely tough to take it in one shot. You did a good job there

If you find DaddyEvil's comment, there is a really good photo there taken from a drone.
