I've been mylotting and visiting along with deleting messages

Did you see Jim's 'stupid question's post (That's the title), asking how to delete messages? JJ came to the rescue and showed screenshots of the trash icon beside each message. But if using a phone your need to rotate your phone horizontally.
I was able to get mine down from 60 to 21.
I won't be deleting all of them. One was when I asked questions of Barry. Some have info I might want one day. Several are from people no longer here, most of those I've deleted.
So if you've wanted to delete your messages but never knew how now you can take a peek at his post to learn how. If you use your desktop to mylot with that's probably the easiest way to delete messages.
Have you deleted messages all along or are you like some of us wondering how to do it?
Ok You would think that after all the years I have been here That I would know how to delete messages. Well, I can't delete them. Have you got difficulties...

Did you figure out how to do it on your own? I've never thought to look at them while on my desktop so those that mainly use a desktop may have done this all along without help.
I've been keeping a tab open in my desktop just to see how far back my notifications go when I've not been caught up in a while.

I have 80 messages, most I'm sure I could delete if I ever felt the urge. But some I want to keep.

@MarshaMusselman I have been alternating between fever and chills the past 2 days. I'm currently sitting here in a "chills" phase. Who knows, in 10 minutes I could be sweating profusely and burning up with a fever.

I learned some things going through mine so I'm glad I began the process.
You must be feeling a little better that your can mylot somewhat. Has the fever broke yet?

Once you rotate your phone you don't always see the trash can right away just hit the area on the right it left depending on who's talking. For longer messages it might be the next line down at the bottom instead of the top for some reason.

@MarshaMusselman I just tried it and it doesn’t work on my phone. When rotating I cant even see the whole message nor reply. Frustrating. Anytime I have to read or respond to a message I have to go on my tablet. I usually access myLot from my phone.

@shaggin are you holding your phone horizontally to try to read your messages? Our does your phone have a really small screen?

I had a lot more before I began deleting them yesterday.
He is isn't he? And he finally let me hold him. I read to him and played a little with him but in the beginning he'd look at me and hightail it to one of the two friends that have watched him most of this last year.

I never thought it was possibly since I did try on my cell in the past. Once I changed my orientation it worked much better.

I guess not, or maybe only for those that don't use a computer. I may have known when I first started here but forgot once I began mylotting from my phone.

@porwest some find the keyboard to small for their thumbs. I use Swype texting or writing and eventually my keyboard anticipates my words not asked correctly. That's why you'll find off words thrown in periodically because when I have a little time to be here I don't double-check.
Swype writing is an Android feature. And then I only use one finger.

And it's not like it's using up our personal space. It must not use that much of mylot either or bugs would have requested we get rid of them periodically.
But I may do some more again anyway.

I don't know that I ever did delete any but I'm now down to around 21. I've been deleting notebooks on a cloud site too recently even though I have enough space to store it. It makes it easier to find other things sometimes.

I've been slowly deleting messages from my pms. I've gotten them down from 185 to 105 right now. I've been working on deleting them for several months now. My pms are quite slow but I can tell a difference in the speed in them already.
I tend to talk to everyone through the pms here. The people I don't talk to much or are no longer here are the ones I'm deleting as I can get to them.

If I worked winky of my desktop I might have figured it out myself but in the phone you don't see the trash cans until you two best where they are.
