So, I sprang forward

Or rather my phone and computer sprang forward. My clock did not, cause hubby switched it when it happened last week. I was up at 5:30 daylight savings time. It feels just the same as normal. So here I am starting my day. Maybe this afternoon I will paint some more things. Install some more shelves, etc.

What do you mean your hubby switched it last week? My husband changes all the clocks before we go to bed.

I have an older electric clock with a DST switch. It decided LAST week to go to DST. I think that is how it used to be. Hubby changed it back and shut off the switch. I took the time a bit ago to switch it.

@MarshaMusselman I am sure it was a WalMart special about twenty years or so ago.

@GardenGerty in not sure whether I've heard of those clocks before.

Yesterday I sewed a cover for my meat slicer machine, I did something wrong with the measures, it's too big. I will cut the sewing and make it smaller.

It is easier to make something smaller rather than larger.

@LadyDuck That question will be a mystery, I guess. Maybe you did not take large enough seams?

@GardenGerty I wonder how I measured, but bigger can be made smaller and not vice versa.

I really don't like all this time change BS, why can't they simply choose a time to set it to and stick with it?

I am hoping that will happen this year.

At my age I fall back, even when I'm setting the clocks ahead!

Never a problem for me. I get up when I wake up.

I woke up when I usually do and I did not have to be anywhere early. I have even napped this afternoon.

I changed the clocks on the stove and microwave and clock radio last night. Left the wall clock for this morning because I was too tired to deal with it (it never wants to go back up after I've changed it, and then when I do get it on its hook it too often goes crooked and then I have to do it again and it goes off time and I have to do it again, etc.) And I left my wristwatch for the morning, too, because it needed a new battery. And wouldn't you know it, although I have a whole collection of button batteries, not one the correct size. Of course, my MacBook did it on its own.

I do not think we have changed any of the wall clocks yet. We have power surges enough that the microwave and coffeepot just say 00:00.

Nothing changed for me - I woke up "early" as I always do anyway - maybe got a hour more of peace as everyone else in the house seems to have forgotten .

Our clocks always go forward on the last weekend in March, so you are ahead of us.

It used to be that way here. They have messed with it so much it is hard to determine now just when we will spring.

I got up on time but was still sleepy. So waited until an hour later.

Here I am, still sleepy after lunch and church. Could be in part because of rain clouds.

I never really noticed much difference with daylight saving except that we seemed to be always having dinner late.

I am not quite there yet. We went to church, then bought a pizza. I have the items out, I have the paint out, now I must get a brush.
