Happy St. Patrick's Day to those that celebrate. How many of you will be preparing and/or eating corned beef and cabbage today?
3 days until spring! It was in the 50s Fahrenheit (approx. 10 Celsius) yesterday.
The 16th was my birthday; and we went to Red Lobster. We ordered double appetizers; and I had a Red Lobster Reward for a Lobster Pizza appetizer and a Birthday Reward for a decadent chocolate cake and ice cream. I had enough PayPal money earned to pay for the whole meal.
We have a handyman coming to the house next week to make some long-awaited repairs and to put up rods for drapes and hardware for putting up some blinds. The week after we have an electrician coming to do a LOT of projects. We are using our Stimulus deposits to cover these projects. We received our Stimulus deposits today. Did you get yours?
I have a birthday free appetizer for Longhorn Steakhouse; so we might go out to dinner again before that coupon expires. I always have enough gift cards or PayPal money earned to pay for the meals. I also received a free appetizer coupon from Texas Roadhouse; but we won't have time to go there too.
So what has everyone been up to? Are you doing anything special for St. Patrick's Day?

The cake sounds delicious! Hope you enjoyed the meal...and will enjoy Longhorn if you do go there. We have a Texas Roadhouse that just opened an hour away...I want to go there if we ever make it over to that town.

No, we didn't get the stimulus....well I personally never got any lol. But my husband hasn't got this one.

I know I'm a couple of days late, but happy birthday Linda! It sounds like you are making the most of the birthday freebies and discounts. Woo-hoo! Glad you were able to get out and enjoy some good eats and have a good time for your birthday!

We did not have corned beef or cabbage but I did buy Irish soda bread. First time trying it. I really liked it. And since hubby didn't want it I've been enjoying the whole thing myself. There is still a little bit left.
We got a letter from the IRS that we are gonna receive the stimulus this time around. So far hasn't come.
Are the repairs/improvements on the house you are trying to sell or the one where you live?

yummy I hope my daughter has some good food planned but I can't eat cabbage any more. I love it so much but it no longer likes me

Glad the handyman and electrician are working on your home. We don't celebrate St Patty's day as we aren't Irish, though we enjoy corn beef and cabbage.
Happy belated birthday. Great that you have the coupons to enjoy eating out. We like when we have them as well though we haven't eaten out, in the actual restaurant for a few years now. Once in awhile we will get something to go.

I had an allergist appointment first thing this morning, so I haven’t checked yet. Today I’m more worried about the severe weather in the south than the deposit. I wish you could spend yours on yourself instead of “the house.
