Don't Give Them Reasons To Stay.

I am talking about the ants. I think that there is always a possibility for them to be around but if we clean the table, the kitchen, the floor. If our house is free from crumbs and small little food that might be in one of the places, then there is a big chance that they will give up seeing nothing interesting for them. So we should not give them reasons to stay.

I agree with you. They are attracted to the hummingbird feeder sometimes due to the sugar.

Are you inviting them back in again? Don't do that! If they like it in your house they'll stay!

Certainly it helps keep ants at bay if you keep the house as clean as possible.

We have the same problem in this household. I think it's because we've got several trash bins. LOL. And I often forget to wipe counters in the kitchen.

I think they really find shelter when the weather is intensely hot outside and our houses are the perfect refuge to cool themselves in. I noticed that when summertime comes ants are visible inside the house more often.

They will come if you 'organize' a house party full of sugar.

The important is to clean everything, if they find nothing to eat they do not come inside.

Try sprinkling some cinnamon powder. They hate that smell.
