I'm going to miss you

This afternoon I walked around to the back of the property with the pups. Hubby had closed the driveway gate tight so I decided it was time to give Rufus freedom. Rufus did well. He ran lickety split over to the fence to get a good look at the neighbor geese. Fine. He can't get over there. I called him and he high tailed it back, speeding over the weeds. Good boy. I wanted him out there partly cause I wanted him to use up energy. When Rufus has too much energy he chases the cats and hassles them. Just not fun. Much better that he zips through and over weeds! Such a sunny day. Totally delicious. Later on we walked out to the county road to get our garbage can and the mail. Oooooh. A local bank has a nice offer that might gain us some cash. Hubby is for sure calling them on Monday. The bank is also one that has a branch in the town that we might move to. Perfect for one and all. Right now Rufus is passed out at my feet. I do love a passed out Cattle Dog. Hee hee.
