Barely slept last night. Maybe my nap was too long, or?

After I got home from work last night my hubby and I talked about some of the things we need done in our house whether or not we get out cupboards replaced. I then mylotted for a little bit and eventually fell asleep on the recliner. Unless I pay myself to get up and do something I tend to take naps while elevating me feet.
Hubs usually wakes me up by eleven but last night it was after midnight. I went to bed shortly after but my foot was throbbing. Finally I got up and redid my bandaging and noticed the wound was closing in a bit more, yay!
After going back to bed I still couldn't sleep as my left hell was throbbing. Eventually I realized it was the result of plantar fasciitis bothering me. I promptly began stretching it out by pulling it closer to my leg.
By the time my leg settled down I could hear hubs snoring and later he got a coughing fit. Possibly I couldn't sleep because of all I want to accomplish today, but I must have gotten more sleep than I thought because I'm not really tired right now.
And here I thought this was going to be a short post.
I washed the bathroom floor already and depot the kitchen to begin washing it shortly. I'm trying a new to me solution. Baking soda and vinegar.
How are you all doing? I'm sure I'll sleep like a baby tonight.

I fall asleep when myLot slows down and I get bored. (Pretty claims I've trained myself to fall asleep any time I'm bored. *shrug* She might be right.)
I watched movies all night and slept this morning. It's raining so I can't go outside and work on my plants today. Hopefully it will be sunny tomorrow. I still need to cut down the pampas grass and the stems and leaves from the flower bulbs out front.

@MarshaMusselman Yes, pampas grass is an ornamental grass. In late summer it sends up huge plumes that can be used as decorations. Here, I'll show you what it looks like before it gets cut down. (Remember, the pampas grass I have now in small, so the ones I'm showing you are at the old house.)

@DaddyEvil Mine gets wheat type plumes in the fall but it's a different type.. I've taken pics before and will do so again this summer. Mine are variegated.
The hardest part is cutting out the old sucks to get ready for the new growth.

I'm getting ready to go to bed. It will be interesting to see where my top sheet ends up tonight. I have restless leg syndrome. I also have bilateral foot and ankle tendinitis, a congenital deformation inside my right foot, and I am very arthritic from the middle of my back on down (ankylosing spondylitis). I need a bilateral knee replacement, and one (congenital) varicose vein shut off in each leg. I also have non-diabetic peripheral neuropathy in both legs. And, today, I noticed that the arthritis in the toes of my left foot is strengthening. That's the leg on which I have been wearing a brace on my knee and a brace on my ankle for two years now. I am hopeful that my sheet will stay in place tonight. Either way, my cat is grateful that I have a king-size bed.

Are all those ailments genetic related or from a car accident it something? That's a lot to deal with and sounds very painful.
Have you ever had the vein shut down before? I have but maybe not that particular one and often another vein will grow to take it's place.
I had a few of my veins done two years ago when I had a similar ulcer and one was a vein over my ankle that was crooked. A new vein grew back that's not only crooked but almost closed up and gets painful periodically when the rest of the foot isn't happy.

@MarshaMusselman Yes, it is all genetic and congenital. No, I have not had a vein shut down before, but my aunts and uncles have.

@Chellezhere it wasn't a painful process for me to get it done. Do you wear support hose it maybe you can't what with wearing a brace on your knee and ankle?

@MarshaMusselman What is an Armstrong Floor? Is it made with vinyl, linoleum or laminate?. I have ceramic tiles in the kitchen.

I think that's partly why I couldn't sleep because I'm going to try to get extra things done.
My floor will be replaced even if the cabinets aren't but I will check a section first to be sure.

@LadyDuck my flooring is an old armstrong floor. I don't expect it could look much worse than it already does seeing it's over seventy years old.

@MarshaMusselman I needed the nap. Vermont did me in. Sometimes we just don’t need as much sleep.

So without a nap and even after having a busy day at school you still didn't sleep well either?
I slept five hours last night before being awake so doesn't time here. Then hubs got up and I slept two more hours. I should be fine for today at least. While awake I remembered some form I forgot to do by the twentieth that needs to get done today .

@paigea And when it's too j got in the room or doesn't help either. I like to be covered but would like the heat turned down more than hubs does. He likes sleeping with his arms over the top which pulls my side down. Arrg.

Feeling sleepy since 6:00pm. It is already 9:00pm here in Manila. Wasn't able to sleep then because I was in a Zoom meeting. Just finishing up some myLot notifications now and then I'm off to la-la-land.

@MarshaMusselman slept well and got up late. Now, trying to be as productive as possible. There are errands to be completed and tasks to be done.

I love naps and they rarely keep me from sleeping at night.
Let me know if your baking soda and vinegar works. I use it for my kitchen sink

I use bleach on my kitchen sink or I should say a cleaner which has clorox in it.

Are you wondering whether it works on my floor or elsewhere to? I've tried it on my stove but it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. I've since found a sponge scrubby that might work with it better. But I did try it on my tub and it's wonderful.
Maybe I'll try it on my sink next.

It seems that way but I tried a short nap this afternoon and didn't sleep then either. So, maybe I did sleep more than I thought last night.

That's not good. That happens to me too. Sometimes I take melatonin to help me sleep but it did nothing last night unless I caught some zzz's without realizing it.

Enjoy your day, Marlina.
