PTC sites and / or Survey sites that you are on?

Common question, I know. Why am I asking? ok so this is what has been happening. As most of you know, my dad hasn't worked in awhile due to all the things that happened with his foot. He had to dig into his savings which will all be gone in roughly a couple of months according to his calculations. Me, the unemployed daughter, has somehow managed to actually have money to give my dad rent in advance as opposed to my full time employed brother who almost always hasn't enough money to pay rent fortnightly. So Danielle, has yet again stepped up to the plate. You know, the youngest of the family who gets picked on from some of her family members for "Not understanding life" or "Not being responsible enough" or "Uses depression to get out of things." You know all that jazz. But despite what these loving family members have thought about me in the past, I have a caring heart and a generous one. I have given my dad $4000 in advance to pay rent. Before it was $2000 but recently gave him more to help as he was stressed and worried. I have also bumped up my rent by another $50. So pretty much all my savings for my driving lessons, getting a car, saving for some time away to celebrate the end of my course in April, etc is almost all gone. Am I sad? Yeah a little but I don't regret it. It's helping my dad! I am annoyed that my brother, again the full time employed one couldn't at least offer doing the same. (not the same amount but at least help somehow). My dad feels so bad and asks me often if I am sure to which I smile and say "It's no worries." And I feel happy helping. I'm just stressed out too with money and annoyed that like most occasions, I step up and do the hard work and my brother, well....he doesn't. He can't anyway, he sucks with money. Anyway....I'm doing what I can making money online with MyLot, PTC sites, surveys sites as well as selling a lot of my things to help build my money up again. But I was wondering if you'd please be kind to let me know of legit money making sites that you use? It will just help me add some more money here and there. Hence why I am p*ssed about "friends" not paying me back their debts! We are worried about if we can have enough to live in our house soon but I guess that's not the same type of worry as people buying a new puppy or going away on holiday. Or like my brother, buying lots of videos games, getting massages or who knows what else. He doesn't understand the severity of all this. Thank you in advance for all answers.

@DocAndersen All good! I'm on a few sites that are legit. I got paid only yesterday from one of them. There are many that are scams but still a great amount that are legit and actually pay even if it's slow in earning.

@DocAndersen aw thank you! Yeah some times it's really hard to tell if people are deceiving you or not. I never trust anything like that. I prefer my own trial and error test if I can be bothered.

I do Swagbucks, mypoints, inbox dollars. All of those are sister sites and are much the same. I do not do the parts where you shop and upload receipts, it never works for me. I actively do PaidViewpoint, Lifepoints and Branded Surveys, and PollBuzzer. I have signed up for many survey sites, but I am active there. Not enough money to live on, but nice to have. Some are paypal, some Amazon, some your choice of giftcards. I have Lowe's gift cards and will use them to buy a dishwasher this spring. You are the kind of daughter people need.

@GardenGerty Thank you SO much for your answer! Apologise for my late reply. I've been busy but I always come back to answer those who answer me. I have taken note of all the sites you've suggested and will check them out. Thank you very kindly! As well as for your sweet comment at the end! That made me feel good! @merrybelle2021 I've not heard of that one before. What is it?

@VivaLaDani13 It's a survey site that people from first-tier countries seem to do well in. I'm curious if @gardengerty has heard of it or joined it

You are such an amazing person Danielle, for wanting to help out your dad. Other than myLot, the only other site I use is Swagbucks. I make decent money on there. I wish you the best in finding ways to earn money to build back up your savings and/or to help your dad. Will you be able to work in the childcare field soon, after you complete your course?

@moffittjc aww thank you so so much for your kind words! Awesome, I will check Swagbucks out. Thank you so much. I truly appreciate that a lot and for your suggestion. I will be able to get a job but I want a break for a little while to do some things around the house and for myself that are very important to me.

@Treborika Thank you for the kind words but I don't think it's right to say something like that about my brother. It would be like someone telling you that someone is more proud of your sister than you. It can hurt people's feelings. Hope that makes sense.

Hmm, I'm on some Norwegian/Nordic ones and lifepoints. It's a survey site, it pays, I've got no clue how it is with signing up etc now but it doesn't cost anything to try. I get surveys fairly often, but I'm a bit sloppy with checking in. Depends how much real life interferes. Other than that and mylot, I've got pictures on some photo sites. Been paid 3 times in 15 years, so they pay. If you want to make money from pictures online you have to use much more time than I do though.

I don't rely on paying sites . I did a research on the sites few years back and found except the article writing sites other sites pay but to reach the payout one has to give lots of time. It's better to find some work. It's sad that your brother doesn't understand his responsibilty and has not helped your father.

@sjvg1976 I agree with that for most of what's out there online. But I am lucky enough to find a few sites that are really good at earning fast and actually paying. But yeah the majority are too draining and / or scams. Thank you for your supportive words, it truly can be stressful regarding all this.

@JudyEv That is true! And it's something both my dad and I have said to him but for some reason, he never seems to actually grasp this! Thank you very much for your kind words. Means a lot to me. I do think my dad can do some survey sites but it makes it harder when I am on there too. It comes with rules such as: One member per household or two members of household can only answer surveys 24 hours apart. Was just seeming too messy and wouldn't want to do anything to put my account/s in danger.

@CarolDM That is fair enough. They most certainly do at times. Some surveys I decline if they are too personal or talk about a subject too triggering.

I know a site where you can make money but it's more "long-range" you wouldn't see a return right away. For a more immediate result, if you like to write, you might try Verblio. But I'm going to be honest with you, you can put in a lot of time writing and not get much in return. Someone else mentioned Fiverr, which I think could be a good option. You can do other things for people on that site too, not just writing; some people want someone to make a video for them or design something, etc. It's only $5 a pop but I don't know maybe it's possible to make a little money. I've personally never tried that one but heard people can make a little money on it. Anyway, you're doing the right thing and I know how rough it can be worrying about money and housing. I've been in the worst of conditions on that account in the past.

@NateB11 Thank you SO very much for your very detailed response. I really appreciate the suggestions and the honesty about them. I have considered Fiverr but still unsure but will check out the other ones anyway. Thank you very much. I'm sorry to know you've dealt with those sorts of conditions in the past and I truly hope it really is all behind you.
