My Mylot pseudonym "Gamayngbaki" is from my native Cebuano language which means "small frog" just like that frog in the picture. I actually had the option to use "Kermit" or "Kermit The Frog"... a nickname my niece gave me but I chose to use a pseudonym in my own language. What's the story behind your Mylot pseudonym?

I have had my username for a very long time and I almost forget why I chose it but, in those days I was a 'night owl', so I called myself 'tyto' (one of the names for an owl in Greek and also the Latin name for the Barn Owl, Tyto alba). When I needed another username, I came up with 'owlwings', and I have used that for many years now - so much so that I have been dubbed 'Mr O.' and 'Lolo Kuwago' by various friends of different nationalities!

@gamayngbaki I thought that you would recognise that. It was a young Filipina friend who called me that.

Mine is my real name, Jobel. And Bojel was given by my cousin. She interchanged the letters J and B for my name to sound masculine. I am a male with a female name. Jobel is from my parents' name.

It is a long story, to cut short, my family called me "ducky" a nickname that stayed with me during all my life. My husband suggested to use the pseudonmy "LadyDuck" online as now I am a grown up duckling.

@gamayngbaki If I can interpreter "Oahu" is the city where she lives in the Hawaii and "writer" it's because she is a writer.

I borrowed it from my sister. She said time flies, and that's what I had in mind when I needed an account in myLot.

@gamayngbaki It should have been tempus fugit: a Latin phrase, usually translated into English as "time flies". But I am fine with "hour flies" too!

Very nice pseudonym! It is in Spanish : hora means hour in English and fugit is from the Spanish word fugar meaning to escape so fugit in English means fled

@gamayngbaki Nice! Thank you so much for sharing. I doubt my stupid brain will remember this but I am happy to learn it right now! I will remember the "small frog" part but I am sure I will forget which language it translates to. Not much to say about mine. I loved a show (I guess I still do) called "Viva La Bam." So I used part of that for my name here. "Viva La Dani" and the 13 is my birthday. 13th February. Nothing special really.

@gamayngbaki I wish you saw my face then. I'm eating tomato soup but once I read that I nearly spat it out laughing. It's so true though with the repeating thing! But yeah made me laugh. Danielle is French name. I also know that in Hebrew it means "God is my Judge." I found that by accident one day online lol Someone in my family wanted me to be called "Agnes" so I'm glad Danielle is my name lol
