April 4 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Happy Easter. It's been a wonderful day. This is the day the Lord has made and I will be GLAD and REJOICE in it.
I'm thankful for church this morning. We had 16 baptisms, most were kids and a couple of adults. Pastor also preached a great sermon.
I'm thankful my dinner was ready when I got home from church. It turned out perfect. I had a leg of lamb, baby carrots, and potatoes. The dessert was carrot cake.
I'm thankful my son and his girlfriend came for dinner. It was her first time having lamb. She liked it. He took home the carrot cake. One slice was more than enough for me.
I'm thankful for my grandson. My youngest grandson's birthday is today. I left a message on FB and called him and left a message. I trust he's having a wonderful birthday.
I'm thankful for my friends here. I finished the notifications twice today. Once before church, and again when I got home.
I'm thankful for one of the family's at church. The little girl gave me an Easter egg filled with goodies. I also brought home some venison from another man who supplies my venison needs during hunting season. It was great to get some now too.
My son's girlfriend is also looking at the same apartment building I'm going to look into tomorrow morning. She had pictures on her phone of one of the apartments. She's going over there tomorrow with the necessary information. There's plenty of availability. We could be neighbors if we both get apartments there.
That's been my day. What are you thankful for today? The picture is of my son and his girlfriend. You can see I changed the tables around for dinner today. Thanks for reading.

Today feels like it's been a good day all around, and I am happy for that. Got some laundry done I wanted, and "walked" more steps today. So, I'm thankful for all of that.

You are blessed with a lovely family, They look like a very nice couple, I was glad a friend gave me a link to an Easter live service so my Easter Sunday got off to an inspirational strat, Then I just quietly did some writing on my laptop.

@spiderdust I usually use mint. However, this one was preseasoned and very good.

You have a lot to be thankful for as do we all. Did you realize you have a duplicate post? They both have 21 comments probably all different too. I would just leave it as it's hard to keep up sometimes when melt won't load or new discussions.
