Are we heading towards another lockdown? / myLot

In India again coronavirus is spreading fast. In last few days the positive cases are increasing.

Yesterday the figure was above 1 lac.

I doubt in such a situation government will take a decision of a lockdown. But that won't be easy this time as there will lots of financial losses that will incurred with it.

Let's see what happens next?.

I think it is too late really for a lockdown to have much effect. Vaccination is probably the only thing that will stop the spread.

Yes vaccination is better option but it's not feasible to have it for all the people in short period of time.

I have heard that the same is happening in Japan and in other countries around the world. It seems we are failing to stop the virus.

I followed that online. I hope your lockdown helps. Hopefully, you will get vaccinated soon. We did 4,000,000 yesterday alone I believe

Lockdown is happening in mumbai on weekends from Friday till Monday of every week. It's not finalised yet. Yes we may never know what will happen.

A lot of places here are still in lockdown. I wish the government here had placed every place on lockdown when it started. Maybe we wouldn't have so many deaths if that had happened. Yeah, Covid cases are on the upswing again here, too. Stupid people think that because some people have gotten the anti-Covid shot, everyone is immune to it now.

Let's hope people can wear their masks and social distance where there are crowds. They really need to to start giving people a fine or tickets if they can't do this!!
