April 5 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I'm thankful I got up at 1:30 this morning. My plan was to find all the paperwork I needed to apply for a new apartment. It took half an hour to find my SS benefits for 2021. I thought I knew where I put it. I'm glad I found it. I scanned it onto the computer, then printed it along with the other documents I needed. It turned out there's no availability at the new apartment building just completed. At least I have the documents together now.
I'm thankful for the good workout I got at the Y in the pool and fitness center.
I'm thankful I talked to my case manager this morning. She told me when the check went out and said she would contact the office so I don't need to.
I'm thankful I spent a little time with my son and grandson this morning after going to Housing. I was in the neighborhood, so stopped in.
I'm thankful I have my name on the waitlist for the apartment. The apartment is okay. I'm sure there's something better out there for me. Even with it being more spacious than this one, it didn't seem like it.
I'm thankful the notifications are finished. Now to get off the computer and watch my shows and get something to eat for lunch/dinner.

Glad to hear the hunt is going well and you have everything you need to apply.
Today was run around day. Hubby and I decided to do a little shopping. I'm thankful our outting was mostly successful. Though I've just about had it with my phone.

Thankful for the blessing of God, that even a small desire like the candy coated hide and seek marshmallow eggs I have been trying to find He allowed me to find a bag in a place where I already search when I had to go and get a bottle of oil to have when I cook later and I didn't have to search. The one bag they had was in plain site to see

Did you hear from the apartment complex, where your son will be living? That would be nice, being in the same complex as them. Your dinner looks so delicious and I know everyone enjoyed it

My son isn't moving. It's his girlfriend who is looking for a new place.
No, and I don't expect to hear from them. There are 50 on the waiting list ahead of me.
Not much leftover. My son took the cake home with him and a plate for my grandson who worked. I just finished off the small serving of lamb I had left.

@just4him I've never fixed lamb before, I need to try it some day:) Jay had a gyro at Arby's with lamb and he didn't like it. I wonder how they cooked it, though.
