At the hospital with my daughter

My daughter woke up crying with a strong belly pain. She has been complaining about it for more than a week but she only complained at night and she said it was a light pain. I took her to the family doctor but she recommended to bring her to the hospital, so we are at the emergency room. They already did her an ultrasound (to check her appendix) and urine analysis. We are both tired and hungry but we need to know the reason of the pain. It has been 4 hours since we arrived here. I just hope that it is nothing serious

I have over 200 notifications to read and I don't when I will be able to read and answer them all. Hope your day has been better than mine.

She is better now, thank you. She is taking medication to help her guts but they don't know for sure the reason of the pain.

Thank you. Today they found out that it's an urinary infection. She is now taking antibiotics and I believe soon she will be okay.

Oh no...that doesn't sound good at all. I hope it is something not serious..I know how concerned you must be. It is hard when there is something wrong with our kids.

Thank God it isn't appendicitis, the hospital called me today as the analysis results showed a bacteria, it's an urinary infection and she is taking antibiotic. Thank you.

@nela13 Well, that's sort of good news. Bacterial infections can be treated with antibiotics to help rid her of the illness and pain. I'm glad it wasn't something more serious. I hope she feels better soon. It always breaks my heart when I see children sick or suffering.

In the next day the hospital phoned me to inform that the urine analysis were positive for bacteria. She is taking the antibiotic now. Thank you.
