I thought the frost damaged the Lilac bush. But today I was surprised yet again. Lilac blooms appeared overnight.
They are so fragrant. If they are still here when the hummingbirds arrive, they will enjoy these blooms.
Spring has so much to offer almost every day. It has definitely arrived.
Snapped this photo in the yard to share. More little things to enjoy.

My garden in Latvia was full of blooming lilacs and we love it every May. Even Sid enjoyed sitting on a windowsill near lilacs to get the scent on the breeze, You can see in the photo him on the outside window and the lilac in the background, Such lovely memories,

@CarolDM 't seems that i've one defyin' the odds 's i found some green leaves'n the one't the end 'f the house. very shockin' 's i 'twas goin' to chop't down/remove the ol' stump. not much's bloomed here, not e'en the bradford pear. perhaps a handful 'f flowers 'n that 'twas't. poor bees :( no worries, the spring wild flowers ('r weeds...dependin' how one wishes to see 'em) 've started puttin' forth some flowers.
lilacs're 'pposed to be easy to propagate. i know mine came from my mamaw's, can't recall how i did such coz 'twas more'n 30yrs 'go :) ugh, where're the lil darlin's??? perhaps they know we're to've a chance 'f snow/rain mix this week 'n 're stayin' where 'tis warmer. oh this weather!

@crazyhorseladycx Green leaves are always a welcomed site. The weather is something else. Just glad it is not severe like in the parts of the country.
