Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Waffles

Another light breakfast dinner. Waffles with peanut butter and chocolate chips. A little syrup was also drizzled on top.
I enjoy this combination with waffles. And I do change it up a bit from time to time. Sometimes I will add a sliced banana. Others times mandarine oranges or peaches.
Whatever kind of fruit I have in the pantry seems to go well with waffles.

That looks yummy. My mom had some waffles made from pearl sugar she bought at Walmart..They were really yummy. I had one for breakfast one day when I was up there.

I am having waffles for breakfast right at this moment! I love making waffles, although I haven't tried them with peanut butter before. But peanut butter and chocolate does sound good.
I have a bag of pumpkin spice morsels left over from the late fall, and I opened the bag the other day and was eating them with spoonfuls of peanut butter. It was heavenly!

I have had peanut butter and honey on waffles but not with chocolate chips. I have never liked the combination of peanut butter and chocolate together. Glad that you enjoyed. There were some buds on the roses at church, soon I'll be able to smell them when I am mowing there

Okay. I am not a huge fan of waffles, although when I was a kid these were a favorite. But chocolate chips and peanut butter? You may have made me giddy here. That sounds good. It would never be a dinner. But maybe for a late lunch? I could be on board with this.
