On Tuesdays, I forgive myself

I am working on myself daily. Trying to better myself and change those things that have led me down a comfortable, but conflicting path. I remind myself daily of what I've accomplished and how that makes me feel. Right now I am feeling tired, I am feeling distracted and I am feeling lazy. However, I have done many things today. I went to four different stores this morning, took a long walk / jog, came home and earned money through mylot and surveys. I have not written much. Ah, but this is where the problem lies. Do I push myself to write now or do I allow myself the rest of the day off? I believe On Tuesdays, I forgive myself. It is past time that I usually get offline. My mind is getting tired and I should allow it to rest. I am proud of what I have accomplished (especially exercising). I also know what I can do tomorrow to get me back on track. But oh how difficult it is to forgive myself. Do you ever feel this way?

You should be very proud. Forgiving ourselves can be very challenging.

You are a great determined lady Amber that is what I see here. Myself..I am a bit befuddled lately ..its okay though, I will do what I can for someone else. That helps.

It really can help to help others. Thank You. I am trying, and I think the biggest monster I have to overcome is self confidence. I can dish it out (give people compliments) but it's not as easy for me to see my self-worth

Forgive your self and think of what you have done instead of what you have not done.

You are right. It's easier to focus on what I have not done, but I have accomplished a lot.

There are times where I do not want to work at all since I am tired due to lack of sleep.

You did a lot. No need to feel guilty. I can't force myself to write. When I do, nothing comes. I wait until I'm in the mood; and then the words just flow out so fast I can't keep up! Maybe you should do the same.

Yes, I think I should do the same. I'm not the type of writer that likes to just write for the sake of it. I need to feel inspired.

Of course. Sometimes it's better if we let other people remind us to be patient with ourselves.

It's good to praise yourself for what you accomplished and also to forgive yourself. You are doing good.

Forgiving ourselves is, to me, harder than forgiving others. But it is good that you are growing and learning to forgive yourself. You did a lot today.

Sounds like you had a productive day with all that you did...and I think forgiving yourself is a good idea. I have trouble forgiving myself too.
