Yey!
This is my first time to make my own pizza dough. I am so afraid of working with yeast since I have not try to use it ever. There is a first time for everything, right?
At first I thought that the yeast is dead since I can see only a slight difference after 5 minutes of testing if it is alive. I wait for five minutes more and yes, it is alive.
The pizza came out really good though it came out more of a thick crust pizza
since I use all the dough in one pizza. I will make two pizzas next time in one mixture of dough. And with my excitement, I forgot to put the bell pepper, ham and onion.
I am just so happy!! Thank you for those mylotters who inspire me more to mske my pizza dough.15 people like this

That pizza looks like a good American-style pizza.

@LadyDuck I am also of Italian descent and have quite a few friends whose parents and grandparents immigrated here from Italy. I have Swiss ancestry as well. But, I digress.
I had nothing to do with those descriptions. So, you will have to take that up with the Tuscan Pizza Team on the site that I linked, if you'd like.

@Chellezhere You are of Italian descent, while I was born in Italy, lived there until before I got married and I go to Italy to see my family once a month. First of all "Italian pizza" is ridiculous "Neapolitan Pizza" "Roman Pizza". "Sicilian Pizza"... they are all different, the toppings are different, the crust is different.
Sicilian pizza crust must be at least 2 inches high... I am sure you never went to Italy.

@LadyDuck I know there are differences. I am not disputing anything here - you are. If you will kindly look at what I typed before I shared the link, you will see that I said the pizza rakski baked looks more American-style than Italian. But, if you really want to get THAT specific, along with Neopolitan, Roman, and Sicilian, there are at least nine different styles in the USA. The attached link contains a list of them.
