Thought I was going to do some mylotting this morning but got things done at home instead

I have a lot of things too do too get ready for the work on Monday and I didn't want to wait until after work in case I was too tired. I got my four drawer file cabinet cleaned off and moved over about a foot and I cleaned off a rolling drawer thing and moved that over too. I moved things around in the living room and did some cleaning in there. Tonight I need to do some vacuuming and begin cutting plastic to go over furniture and tables and almost everything as they'll be removing two portions of a wall and taking out a pocket door in the process or boarding it up. Not sure on the latter yet. We need the doorway larger to fit a new fridge/freezer into the kitchen as the doorway is currently to small. I'm at work until 7:30 and working again tomorrow so I can only work on the house before or after working. I also have some touch up painting to finish too. Picture is of the pocket door

Things will have to wait a few weeks now because they couldn't get the water valve all the way closed. They're coming back the end of the month instead.

@just4him turns I we have to push the work back as we couldn't shut off the water into the house. So first that needs fixing by a plumber and then possibly we can move forward again by the end of the month.

@MarshaMusselman I am also planning to open a door where we now have a window. I am going to cover everything.

@MarshaMusselman When they worked in our apartment in Monte Carlo I covered everything with old bed sheets and on top I placed plastic sheeting.

@LadyDuck that's what I did. I found some plastic sheeting that I already had in the house possibly for a drop cloth for painting, I don't remember, but I was able to cover a lot with it.

Getting housework done is just as important. Good thing you're getting it done.

It's not normal housework but moving things so the workers can access the areas they'll be working on . Still needy though.

It's going to be so nice when it's done but any project is messy. Good luck with the renovations.

Ran into a snag early in so the workers won't return for several weeks but we're still on their schedule for later at least.

I never did like pocket doors, but they sure were popular for a time there. Things are looking up. Glad you are getting everything done and readied for the work that will be done on Monday.
