Hello dear friends l had to pop in to say l am so sad to see what is currently happening in India due to this dreaded virus & to let you know l have you all in my prayers & thoughts. Help is on it's way although sadly too late for many. Please only take notice of what the health authorities are advising you to do to keep safe & avoid taking some crack pot advice from people on you tube etc. I was alarmed at what some of these nasty people are telling you to do. The only way to stay safe is to follow WHO & government advice until you can get your vaccine. Please avoid large gatherings like religious festivals or political rallies where the chances of spreading the virus multiplies tremendously. Keep strong and remember to keep your distance from others, avoid large gatherings, wear a face mask & wash your hands frequently. I will light a candle for you each day to keep you safe until things settle down in India. Pray to your God at home avoid going to the Temples until it is safe to do so. Stay strong!

They actually make most of the vaccines for the rest of the world Currently there is an embargo on sending them abroad such is the dire situation in India.

We are living in a fear these days. Daily hearing news of someone dieing. Situation here is not at all good. Beds and oxygen cylinders not available in the hospitals . People are not able to get care if they are even critical.

We send all our prayers to you. Help is being sent from many nations in the form of ventilators & medicines. I read the government are asking the army to help transport oxygen.

Good for you. We are hearing now of hundreds of Nepalese workers returning to Nepal over the border from India but of course they are taking the virus with them.

So so sad Judy. Unfortunately one thing l noticed in my trips to India people have no concept of personal space. It feels crowded almost everywhere.

@garymarsh6 I can believe that. It has a huge population even for a big country.

Good please try & stay home if you can and avoid meeting others. Only go out if you really have to. Things will eventually settle down once supplies start to filter through.

Hello Gary, great advice for our Indian friends. I hope that the situation in their country will get better. It is still too early to go back to a normal life. Better to play safe for some more time.

Great post, Gary. I don't keep up with the news but I know they have a larger population there and not every country has the vaccine available yet to the younger generation and maybe not even the elderly in some cases.

Thanks for reminding us the health guidelines. It's sad news too what is happening to India. It reminds me of the situation in Italy last year
