Ten Tornadoes in Tennessee on Tuesday

Tuesday morning we had tornado warnings and watches. Lots of thunderstorms the day before, Monday night and Tuesday.
Thankfully none were in our neighborhood. The National Weather Service said that it’s likely that at least 10 tornadoes touched down Tuesday morning across Middle Tennessee.
Several of the tornadoes were likely embedded in straight-line winds. It will take several days to survey the sites.
These storms can be very tragic. Only one person so far was found dead as a result of a tree falling on her mobile home while she was sleeping. You never know when they will hit.

I think it was that line of storms that caused tornadoes in western Kentucky early Tuesday morning. So glad your neighborhood was spared!

Wow, and those storms around Nashville hit at the worst possible time, too: the start of rush hour! I'm glad they didn't make it down to the southern suburbs.

We've been having thunder storms for several days but no tornado warnings... I'm hoping nobody else lost their life in the tornadoes.

We had some of those storms last night including a major windstorm that some thought was a tornado.

That's sad to hear.
Hope she is at peace.
And lots good nobody else was hurt.

that storm was very large and very nasty. Lots of damage in its week. Glad you are ok!!!!
