Update on Some Worrying

So awhile ago I told you my 10 year old Chihuahua, Annabelle was sick. I didn't post an update earlier because there were so many ups and downs. Today, the final puzzle piece fell into place. A couple of weeks ago they discovered she had diabetes insipidus, which is rare. Then, her allergies got so bad huge patches of hair near her backside fell put. But, today her test yesterday came back, and she has Cushings disease. It's not curable, but it is treatable.
Thank God for the last stimulus check we got because it all cost me $1,000. If not for the stimulus check I don't know what I would have done. Incidentally, her diabetes insipidus medicine was going to cost $151 at Wal-Mart and CVS, but I used Goodrx, and it cost me $51 instead.
She's worth every penny.

Well at least you have answers now. I was grateful for the check as well. I had some big expenses The last couple of months, and was able to replace my riding lawn mower as well.

If she was my 10 year old Chihuahua, I would do exactly what you're doing! I'd go the extra mile to improve her health, no matter what it costs. Annabelle is your faithful friend and she deserves the best of care

Our fur babies are definitely worth every penny. One of our dogs had Cushings; and he lived a long and happy life. Good luck.

Everything you love should not be compared to money.
It's good that she is okay now.
Hopefully, she is taking her meds.

Hope your little chihuahua Annabelle gets better with her medicine. Thank goodness you had your stimulus check to offset the expense.
