I Don’t Feel Like Being Here

Out early to walk 7+ miles.
Laundry and cleaning done.
Planted and watered the last of my flowers.
Weeded by hand and sprayed weed killer here and there.
Bought mulch with hubs. Never enough here.
Went to our son’s house to meet with him and his new landscaper. He’s redoing his entire yard.
While there hubs picked up a compressor that our son borrowed .
I began to visit with you but am wiped out. Going to open a new book and relax for a while.
Ever feel like not being here?

@LotusEyes I lined the front of the house and our garden path with them on one side of the house. It sure saves on electric bills!

Tell me about it - had to go shopping early in the morning. Bought 15 days vegetables at one go, fearing gruesome covid or black fungus attack. Then cleaning and sorting and storing. And you know how it is with corriander/cilantro. You need to clean that first. So yeah..cooking and eating and laundry and cleaning etc. over but tired as hell.

I have, but when I do I just don't come on here. It also means I don't get paid, because I'm not posting. So I take a break when I need to, but make sure to put in a couple hours so I can pay bills.

Remember that fight I was having with Jet Blue last year over the flights I had to cancel whenever the pandemic started, but they would only issue my refund in the form of airline credit instead of an actual refund? 
I'm planning a trip to visit my dad this summer (since we're all vaccinated), so I'm finally getting to use that credit towards tickets to see him. I still wish they had refunded my money, but at least the credit won't be wasted.

@spiderdust They did that to my friend, too. I don’t know how we received the credit. No rhyme or reason.

@DianneN - Sounds like you deserve to take a break. I am barely here, but I like to check in once in a while and see how everyone is doing. I didn't even earn $5 once last year, so I guess maybe I should pick up the pace a little bit!

Forget the money. Come back to us. I for one miss you?
Yes, we are planning to return to Florida in October, but will return to Connecticut once a month we’re hoping.

Fortunately, I know no one personally who has had Covid and passed away from it. Last June, my sister in law caught covid from the hospital in which she works and brought it home to my brother. They were so fortunate in that the only lost their sense of taste and smell for two days and recovered completely.
You have the wedding coming up and I have my granddaughter’s Bat Mitzvah. Her Mikimo pearl necklace arrived here moments ago for my inspection. So beautiful and I’m so excited!
