Early Dinner of Sliced Tomato Sandwich

Decided to eat dinner early today. Have been up since early this morning, checking on the baby bunnies. These long hot days can make my appetite go out the window it seems. No garden tomatoes yet from my neighbor. They will be here in a few weeks. In the meantime, I picked up a couple at the store. Hoping they will be good. A tomato sandwich with mayo and a few cheese nips on the side. Calling it dinner for today. Photo is of my tomato.

I like to just eat plain tomatoes with a little salt. They don't have to be with anything else.

I enjoy tomato sandwiches too. I have a huge collection right now of cherry tomatoes I got at Costco..Don't think they would be very useful in sandwich making though.

It seems a kind of short cut to have tomato sandwich in the dinner. Hope you would have enjoyed it. We would prefer to have such kind of sandwich in the breakfast.
