It is fun to be back

At the moment my husband and I are visiting the island (Roemoe) where I used to spend my vacations with my parents and my brother. I haven't been here for years and it is fun to be back.
We passed the holiday center where my family and I used to stay. I know that we went sightseeing in the past, but I wasn't really interested. I just want to return to the playground 
My brother and I spent hours there. Roemoe is located in south western part of Denmark, and many of the other tourists were German. My brother and I didn't speak German at that time, but we still enjoyed playing with the other children.
We plan on driving around on the island. I don't really remember the places I visited with my family so it is almost like a new place.

You are lucky that you have the luxury to go on vacation on a beautiful Island. Here it is not so, due to Carona virus cases, there is lock down here in New Delhi and we just cannot go out, except for buying essentials.

@Porcospino It is good to hear that position have since improved at your place and now lock down has been relaxed and places are open now. It is great that you could travel and enjoy yourself. Right now we do not have this luxury. We are confined to our homes.

I am sorry to hear about the lockdown at your place.
Four months ago we wouldn't have been able to travel. At that time almost everything was closed here. The only places that were allowed to remain open were grocery stores and pharmacies. Now many places have re-opened, and we are able to visit those places if we have a negative test. I know that we will get another lockdown if the number of new cases increases again, but right now things are better and travel is possible.

Thank you. Yes, that is true. Children are able to have fun together even if they don't speak the same language. When my brother was a child he spoke Danish to everyone. He didn't realize that the children from other countries didn't understand him, but they had fun together anyway

In December and January we wouldn't have been able to travel around, but things are better now. We need a negative test to enter most places, but travelling is allowed. I am sorry to hear about your lockdown. It sounds like our situation in December.
