What a Lazy Day!

We woke up to overcast and cloudy skies this morning which was okay because we didn't have any special plans made for today. The only thing I knew I wanted to do was watch the LSU Tigers baseball game.
Around mid-afternoon and game time, the sky opened up and we had a nice and steady rain for about 30 minutes and then the rain stopped. The clouds have remained and it looks downright gloomy outside.
The good thing is no satellite interruption during the game and the Tigers won 6-5 in overtime. We will play again tomorrow evening. This will be an intense game against Oregon or Gonzaga. Gonzaga beat us earlier this week in the Regionals but we have not faced Oregon this year. Either way, it will be a good ball game!
I am in the middle of fixing a late dinner here so wanted to put up a post real fast. I'm fixing breaded pork chops, squash, carrots and a potato salad. My hubby didn't like the sound of just squash and carrots and made the potato salad. LOL.
The photo is one of my purple mums that bloomed last year in honor of the Tiger win today!

We just had our rain tonight. Very light and about only half hour rain. Quiet Sunday.

@oahuwriter Yep! Staying home today but tomorrow is doctor day for both hubby and me. After that percentage of rain goes way down and we should be able to dry out. I hope so!

You know we always pull off miracles!!! I am upset, didn't get to see the game earlier with Gonzaga and now Oregon tonight is also not on any of the channels we get. Boo!!
The team is playing hard to give Paul Mainari a good send off! He is retiring. I think maybe that will be some extra fuel for them.

We were overcast this morning, but it cleared up during church. It has seemed muggy today. No plans, no nothing. We went out to eat at a buffet at lunch. Hubby could not finish his plate of food. We will snack tonight, I am pretty sure.

The purple mums are very pretty. Sounds like the game was very intense. I made potato salad for my Sabbath meal and still have some left and some egg salad too and some salad I made. Have not made salad in quite some time because was busy with finding a place to move to. I forgot at first what I put in my dressing and could not find it on the computer and then remembered so made Russian dressing and it is good. Still have some left to eat with the last of my salad.
