Watering His Special Blooms

My neighbor is on a vacation. I promised to water his flowers. He has a memorial for his late wife and those are the special flowers I go to first.
Also, all round his front walkway, he has clematis vines growing everywhere. I remember when his wife was alive, these were her favorite. Such beautiful purple blooms with the dark green vine.
Clematis plants are among the most popular and attractive flowering vines you can grow in your yard. I need to start a vine in my yard one day.
Brought back good memories while I was over there watering for him.. and her. She was his wife and my friend. Forever missed. He lost her in 2018 to cancer. I hope he enjoys his vacation.

Now I know why this was called Clematis --- means climb.

That's nice of you to do that for him and her. The flowers are beautiful. I've thought of growing those and morning glories before. Maybe one day I'll but some trellises to get them growing on.

the memorial sounds amazing! it is a part of us to pay tribute to those gone. But it is the part of us,t hat cares for others that nurtures our souls.
