It's The Weekend!!

Its Saturday!! whoohoo (don't know why I'm excited...don't have anything planned 
)
At around 1:30am I was woken up by a thunderstorm. The thunder wasn't that bad but the lightening was pretty fierce. I fell back asleep without a problem so I guess the storm didn't last long.
This morning it's sunny but it's a hazy kind of day. The sun is blocked by clouds and thunderstorms predicted for later on.
My oldest daughter and granddaughter drove about an hour and a half away to pick up the keys for the apartment my granddaughter is leasing for this next semester at college. I told my granddaughter to take pictures or video of her apartment so I could see it. The chances of me going there is slim but you never know. My daughter said it was going to be a quick trip but knowing my granddaughter it won't be as quick as my daughter is anticipating.
I don't have anything planned for today. Just another day in the life of me 
Even though it's still early in the day I'm excited about dinner....I'm having eggplant parmesan with spaghetti. Haven't had it in awhile so I'm really looking forward to it.

Its not raining right now, but there's supposed to be some more later.
We're just kind of hangingout.
Went for a drive earlier, took one of my friends daugthers her brithday presents and picked up my meds.
Nothing exciting now. Trying to earn a little extra money.

I have had a very quiet day, I am trying to rest and not think.
My brother has called me but I was short and sweet on the phone with him, just wanted some quiet.
I hope that you get to see the apartment thru pictures or a video.

@Marilynda1225 That's wonderful, I hope that covid allows her to remain on campus next year.
Thanks for your support, tomorrow we will be the whole day with our son, that will help my heart heal.
Today he sent me a text, it just read 'I love you xoxo' and it was so sweet.
Imagine, we all told them that as they grew up and then they can give that love back.

Hope you managed to have peace and quiet today. Grief has no time limit 
The apartment looks perfect for a college student. It was hard watching the video my granddaughter took as she was dancing around as she was taking the video. I was dizzy lol

Really now days sleeping is also a holiday job.we are always sleeping for a long time in a holiday. And this is required also.

I guess the weekends were important to me for so long that I still get excited about them though they are kind of like every other day to me now.

I hate lightning. I remember it started out as a beautiful day outside one day and my cat was outside and then the lightning started and I rushed out to get her. It was very hard on her. I picked her up and put her under my jacket and brought her inside. I talked to her to calm her down. Saturdays I am not on the computer because it is the Jewish Sabbath so I am outside reading and getting some sun. We relax and spend time with family on our Sabbath and pray
