Hubby got up this morning and said we had to go to the VA Emergency Room. Problem with his catheter. Quickly fixed and they gave him a med to try.
He did not need me but said he wanted me to go.So I went.
Then we looked for car parts on our way home.
Forget me ever making any plans and wanting to get stuff done.
Now he is napping and a cat is sitting on me. I will try later.

It sounds as if you need a minute for yourself and maybe that involves your cat. God bless you.

There are some things making me crabby. I should not rant on here. Moving the computer stresses me out, but it needed to happen.

@DaddyEvil I think this makes fourteen or more trips to ER in the last two years or so.Wish it was a problem with a permanent fix but does not seem to be. Most of the trips have been worse. If it had been yesterday he could have gone to the clinic instead of ER. Local ER has injured him twice which makes the problem worse, so we do not even bother, we drive to VA, more than an hour away.

Trying to get my awful house cleaned up and beds arranged for company next week. I may need to invest two dollars in a trip to a swimming pool. Too hot, makes me cranky.

@GardenGerty I know too well about the anxiety of cleaning house before company arrives. I wish you well there. Two dollars is cheap for a visit to a swimming pool.

Getting the cath fixed is an issue that I am happy he was able to get resolved. You might have to modify your plans a bit.

The problem is that it was not an emergency, but it had to be taken care of at the VA. We no longer even attempt to get help locally as they have injured him in the past. If they could have done it locally it would have taken less than an hour.

This is my Sunday to lead worship, then we will go see my sister and pick up a prescription. Not a lot of work on Sundays. Monday is supposed to have a cool down.
