Honey, I'm back

Sorry guys, or should I say honey? I've been mia for a few days other than working through my notifications a little each day. I've got them down to about thirty at present.
Our raku quit working last week and I considered getting cable TV for a few days but decided against it because I don't want the extra money going out until I have more credit cards paid off. So instead, we bought a new raku player which came with speakers and gives a movie theater type sound. Kind of cool.
One of the apps, peacock has an old drama I never saw that I've been watching. It's called New Amsterdam. It's very good. In two days time I'm in episode nine. The only thing is I should wait until the winter months since I have a lot of other things I could be doing instead.
It rained this morning but I'm hoping to get a window cleaning job or two this afternoon once it clears up. I was going to call people yesterday but decided I shouldn't with it being Father's day and all.
Currently I'm getting a tune up for my van so when we go to Ohio this next weekend nothing breaks down.

@MarshaMusselman Yes, I water everything. It is not forbidden here, because I live in the countryside and I have my own water.

I took the day off from cleaning windows because it was supposed to rain and now it looks like the rain will miss us but I have a lot I need to get done anyway.
The day will still be good for me though.

We heard it would be a dry summer and while the spring started out that way the summer is becoming fairly wet.

I have my uncle's Roku and I also have Peacock on it, but I haven't really watched on the app. Today it's raining here.

We got some rain about noon . It was a storm actually and it was short lived but cut out working in half.
I didn't realize until last night that peacock is NBC's channel.

We got rid of cable and home phone last fall and it was one of the best decisions that we have made. We were paying $350 a month for subpar internet, home phone and cable that we never watched. I dropped everything but internet and now we pay $60 a month. And it does decent. There's usually 3 tvs connected and four phones, and then usually my laptop or tablet. So it does a lot of stuff.
We traded cable for streaming. we have prime, hulu, motortrend, youtube tv, discovery plus, starz and paramount plus, and hbo max as well as netflix, and still only spend about $150 between all those and the actual internet bill.

Well keep our landline because of our business and because old customers have that number. Our phone/internet bill is only 90.00 and with raku is a one time payment.

New Amsterdam is one of my favorite shows.
I don't blame you for not getting cable. My cable bill is high and I hate paying it every month. I always say I'm gong to cancel it but never do.

I'm glad I didn't go that route with the cable because I may need to get a normal smartphone rather than use my prepaid which has been acting up today. I will reinsert my memory card first to see if that takes care of the problem.
My phone isn't letting me do much with my photos today and I use my camera a lot here.
