Momma Kitty was part of my life since 1987. I lost her on July 3, 2011. Ten years ago today. She was Dustin's cat. Very hard to lose her. A part of my son left with her, it seemed.
She made one last trip to Dustin’s memorial garden in the backyard on June 29th, only four days before I lost her. This was a daily ritual for her.
I always believed she knew the garden was for Dustin. And now it is also her garden and final resting place.

Momma Kitty was a very good looking cat that reminds me of the female cat called DiNozzo after the character of a television show.

@CarolDM I know how you feel since my recently deceased cat Relish lived for about 16 years before he passed away earlier this year.

Time flies when you lose someone. It's been three years and then some since I lost my cat, Precious. I still miss him but I have three other kitties who try to make it better.

@CarolDM That's what my mom did for me with Precious. I lost my first cat, E.T. a few months before I got him. It's funny, before Precious passed Mama came into our lives. the world works in mysterious ways.

Beautiful cat. Those are great pictures. Just as you will see Dustin again, I firmly believe that our fur babies will be waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge.

i am so sorry my friend. that has to be hard, not only to lose her but that connection to your son. I wish I could give you words that would fix things, but I know I cannot. Sharing things like this will help others, and that is a massive gift you have given ever since I've known you!

Your continued support means the world. I always try to help others in hopes of preventing them from pain I have felt. Helping others appreciate what and who they gave in their lives. I miss them both every single day and always will. Those memories will get me through life. And friends like you.
