Last Night Fireworks

I know today is the fourth, but in my neck of the woods, may as well have been last night. We heard constant booms, most of the night. I can only wonder what tonight will be like. It somewhat interrupted my sleep. I had to go to town, and got up, went back to bed, and woke up at ten. So I was thrown off. Back now, I sure hate it for the people having to work today all their hopes were based on getting off with the hope their families are cooking. You all have a great fourth.

My husband should be home soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed the thunder I'm hearing doesn't ruine tonight's fireworks. But I've been hearing pops all afternoon.

I still remember when nothing would be open on Sundays except the 7-11 .... they were also the only place that was open on most holidays. I can't remember when all that changed.

Been going on here every night, and sometimes daytime, for like 2 months now. I can't even tell you how many people have called the police because they think it sounds like a shooting (and sometimes it is.) I am tired of fireworks. I look forward to the night we can actually sleep all night without constant booms.

Fireworks have been going off around here since Friday and will be for most of the week, that is normal. I hate that it interrupted your sleep. Mike and I have to sit with Ginger, our kitty, as she isn't a fan of the loud bangs.
