Maybe some of you remember that my washing machine broke down around 2-3 months ago. And up until now I was not able to buy it.
I have been busy baking almost every weekend that going out to buy one was pushed back of my priorities. For the past months, I have been washing our clothes in a laundry shop just at the gate of our village. Every Saturday they will pick up my laundry early morning and will bring it back to me in the afternoon, dry, folded and smells good.
This got me thinking if I want to buy still a washer or maybe I can just continue their service.
. I sort of enjoy not hanging the clothes to dry and not folding them. I do not have a dryer so I have to hang them to dry.
Also it got me thinking that I do not want to hang clothes anymore to dry. So that means I need to have a dryer to.
there are combo washer/dryer out there but I am not sure which is more effective. A separate one or the combo one. I still need to save more to buy one though.
Do you have a separate washer and dryer?
Or do you have those 2in1 combo washer-dryer?14 people like this

That is true. We have been using Washing Machine too but then when ours got disrepair and having it repaired again and again. We started to think that maybe it's better to avail laundry service instead of buying a new washing machine. Since there are many around us we chose to do that and since then we just used their services it is pretty comfortable for us since we really do not dry them and they return it properly folded and they smell good as well. The only thing I have with them is that there are times that clothes do get misplaced that is why you should always check on the inventory of your clothes, especially the small ones like underwear, socks, and handkerchief that may be misplaced or lost. So you have to always be able to check them thoroughly when you received them.

I agree. I always check my list and so far it is all good. There is a time when they gave me shirts that was not ours so I tell them to get it back.
I washed our undergarments. I cannot and do not or do not have the willingness to let them wash for us. Though my sister do that. I am not sure I can

Just calculate the cost and see the pros and cons of it. I would probably invest in a washing machine as I often arrives late from work. So it's not easy to send my clothes to anyone to wash or visit the laundromat. Before I get the washing machine, I would immediately started washing my clothes as soon as I arrived from work. I would do laundry everyday too to avoid them from piling up.

I have separate washer and dryer. The combo ones, here at least, aren't big enough to do a week's worth of laundry for Pretty and I. I only have time to do laundry once a week so want it all done at once.

I have a separate washer and dryer and don't know much about the combo ones and if they work as efficiently. But just the idea of not having to do laundry does have an appeal

Haha if it's not a bigger expenditure then better to continue with the laundry at the store at the gate of your village
