A special wall-hanging to suit a special clubroom

At the ride we attended at the weekend, they were offering soup and a sausage sizzle for those who wanted it. They had chicken and corn, pumpkin or pea and ham soup so over the two days, we tried out all three. We’d forgotten to take anything for our dinner on Friday night so they put two servings of soup in a container for me and we had that and two microwaved sausages in rolls for our meal. In the kitchen/clubroom area, I spotted this lovely quilt. I love the colours and the simple silhouettes. It is very fitting for such a clubroom. I would never have the patience or skill to quilt but I know some myLotters enjoy it.

That is really neat looking. There is a quilty museum a couple of hours from here that is supposed to be one of the largest in the U.S. I want to visit it.

It wouldn't have hurt us to have gone without. We did have Cup A Soups, and tinned tuna in the van plus bread and a toaster - and a microwave so it was a bit of a fuss about nothing on our part really.

I can't even hem handkerchiefs straight but I can crochet. I am going to start on more prem baby beanies as soon as I find some baby wool
