Greek Pasta Salad for Dinner

Greek pasta salad is usually made with pasta, tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, feta cheese, usually served as a slice on top of the other ingredients, and olives with salt, pepper, and olive oil. I like all of the above except the onions and cucumbers in my salad. That is what I am having for dinner. Cucumbers are tasty by themselves. But not in a salad. The feta cheese and olives really make this salad one of my favorites. And when you add a little olive oil after the other ingredients, it is like icing on a cake.

That sounds very delicious, What kind of dressing on the salad? Olive oil and some vinegar? I sometimes sprinkle lemon juice on salads,

my wife loves the stuff. Although in fairness she adds huge chunks of Feta Cheese to it!

I wish my husband would eat pasta. I like pasta salads. I may have to pack them for lunch this school year. I love it all.

I am eating pasta salad tonight. I always add stuff to it. It has been in the fridge..but I might add some pepperonci and black olives possibly some mini pepperonis. It already has tuna in it and some cheese,and other extra veggies.

I never try adding feta cheese and olives before. Plus both are usually pricey. So the Greek pasta salad doesn't require salad dressing, but only olive oil?

I only make a bowl, so it is not pricey, it lasts awhile for us. You can use whatever you like, most use olive oil And some add a little vinegar.

I love olives and pretty much dump them on all my salads. Going to have to stock up on feta cheese now that I just read about it.

I had a tomato & cucumber salad for lunch today. I’d leave the olives off. Imagine my embarrassment when I get my salads at Olive Garden with no olives! Sounds delicious!!!

I haven't tried a Greek salad before. I'm not a fan of raw onions in anything, cooked is fine. I may have to try one some time. We decided on meatball sandwich's for supper tonight. Been awhile since we had them. Have a blessed evening.
