The Horse interevenes in vicious pitbull attack.

For a change, my headline is not deceptive.
Louis is my buddy. He is a three-legged pitbull, adopted by my buddy John and his wife.
Louis snuggles with me when I play music with John. I give Louis intense ear and butt scratches between songs.
When he tries to Bogart my seat after I get up to take a leak, I lower my butt slowly, and he eventually yields.
The other night, he got out of the house and proceeded to "run up on" a German Shepherd being walked by neighbor.
John is 80-years-old and does not move fast. His back problems are way worse than mine.
The neighbor said, "Get your damn do off of mine" as I approached. Does she really know know who Louis belongs to?
I walked straight up to Louis, picked him up, and carried him home. John and I tried to say "bad dog" to Louis, but we got down to music pretty quickly.

my son-in-law has a 1/2 pitbull, she is without a doubt the sweetest thing. glad you were there to intercede!

Unfortunately pit bulls can be challenging when it comes to other dogs. I think it's great that you were able to just pick him up and take him back home. He's just a softie!

I have an unpredictable rottie/shep mix--he is a rescue and likes smaller dogs, but he gets his panties in a bunch around bigger dogs.

Good for you for intervening. Three-legged dogs don't seem to know they only have three legs.
