I Saw my Magician

Monday I played pickle ball and met so many old friends there! Fun morning. Went out to lunch afterwards with my friend and ate outdoors on a pretty patio.
But yesterday was the day I had to see my magician! Hubs drove me, but had to drop me off and leave. Very strict Covid rules. He went out for coffee and returned to pick me up after my session.
I had the third of three Fractora laser sessions. I was due for my last appointment on November 12, 2019, but had to cancel. It was the day we had to put our precious Doodles the cat down.
We left shortly after for Florida. Then Covid hit.
So…. my magician of a surgeon did what he had to do. I booked an appointment for another session in September and an appointment for Morpheus 8 a week afterwards. All face and neck laser treatments.
I know many prefer to grow old naturally; wrinkles, bags, and all, but not me. I want to stay pretty and youthful looking as long as possible. Hubs loves me no matter how I look and thinks I’m crazy -
, but he puffs up with pride when we are out and about together.
Love modern science. Love looking like a better version of myself. Love my beauty doctor. Love that our son stopped by to check on me, brought get well gifts, and spent the afternoon keeping me company. Love that my husband made dinner for us.
Meanwhile, no going out for the rest of the week. 300 laser needles left me sunburned looking, have a few scabs, and sandpaper feeling skin.
I do it because I can.

You are absolutely gorgeous and stunning. With you looking youthful your hubby may feel he is getting involved with more youthful activities that help him to feel invigorated and young again himself.
So indirectly it's your hubby who is gaining out of it
.

How often do you have to keep getting the laser treatment? Is it really a permanent way to get rid of unwanted hair?

300 needles? No thank you! I'll age un-gracefully (new word). :-) Hope you feel better soon. Kudos for your bravery! Great picture. I think you look terrific with or without the treatments. Hugs.

You are gorgeous! And it is good that you chose to stay that way all the time.
What is pickleball? I wanted to ask you in the earlier post too where you mentioned it.

Thanks! I will fight aging until I can’t. lol
Pickle ball is a game played on a court with a paddle, a net, and whiffle ball. Very similar to tennis doubles, but on a smaller court, It’s the rage here and a great workout. I’m playing Monday morning, no matter how I look.

@DianneN I have the same plan to fight to age as much as I can.
My yoga and meditation have helped me look young so far, I hope that they would do that in future too.
That sounds like an interesting game and a real good workout
Thanks to Mylot friends, I learnt something new today.
