It has gotten hot again

I thought of a great alternative to the heat. I used frozen fruit (cantaloupe, strawberries) and some vanilla yogurt to make a smoothie.
That was our lunch.
When we shopped today I picked up a frozen pizza. We enjoyed half of it tonight, with a side of cucumber salad.
My salad is onions, tomatoes and cucumbers dressed with dill infused white wine vinegar. It tastes "sharp" and very cooling.
Today has been a simple food day.

The smoothie sounds great. Hope you did un-freeze the pizza. 
I was going to sit outside and watch the squirrels this evening, but it was way too hot for me. Im inside, watching live web cameras instead.

It tried to rain earlier. Drop, count to 5, another drop, count to 4, drip drip, count to 5, spit and nothing. But it did cool off somewhat, so that I sat on the front steps reading for about an hour. Came in and had chocolate-covered ice cream on a stick.

We only have room a/c and not in our living rooms. I do tend to sit here at the computer because the room gets very comfy.

@GardenGerty This house has me spoiled. It has a heat pump that blows cool air in the summer and hot in the winter.

Milk shake is made with icecream and milk, smoothy is made with fruit, sometimes ice.
