My New Best Friend

I am sure you are wondering. As of today, I got my reading glasses. I claimed to be my best friend because it will be used while working online. It has anti-radiation that will protect my tantalizing eyes especially in front of my computer screen. Thus, it is my metaphor idea about this. Any new best friend in life?

Haha, I have had those since I was in grade school. Although mine is not for reading for distance, now that I am getting older, my doctor recommended that I also get a reading glass beside my existing eyeglass. But since I am not that keen on getting one. I just remove my eyeglass when I am reading since it is not clear anymore but is good for distance vision only.

@cacay1 I got mine when I was still in Grade 5. I am nearsighted so I really need to wear the glass all the time to be able to see clearly from afar. I could easily read if it is near but I could not really see clearly when it is far.

@Shavkat Yeah but it is costly to have it in one glass and you really have to adjust the way to look at it since there is a division for seeing for distance and reading. You will have to learn to position your eyes when reading and looking at a distance. It will take time before you can train your eyes on that.

@rsa101The doctor suggested putting the reading and distance in one pair of eyeglasses, but I refused with this idea. I am not in denial or something, but to make it easier to work online. It is my first time wearing these eyeglasses. @cacay1

I am trying my best to be here. These past few days, I am mostly active during the night. The downside is that I need to contact my company due to unbooked classes. Instead of wasting time, money, and energy, I prefer to be here.

Well, we've had the windows tinted which people can't see into our living room now so that's a good thing. We will have other curtains there as well soon. I'm sure you'll really enjoy having new glasses.
