Spread Kindness Instead of Division

Kindness goes a long way in life. And it is free. Costs nothing.
Name calling divides the world. So why do it? Why be a part of what is dividing everyone.
Life is short. We should all try to be more kind. Try to pull together, not apart.
Never judge what you don't understand. I have heard that my entire life. And those words are so true. So much fake news floating around.
Another one I live by is... If you can't say something nice, don't say anything.

I tend to hold my tongue a lot, when talking online or to people, because I believe kindness goes a long way. Sometimes though, I have to say what's on my mind, even if it is hurtful, because withholding the truth doesn't help anyone either. So I'm kind in general, but when push comes to shove I won't hold back either.

I think that my mother taught me that and I went on to pass it to our grandchildren! Words to live by for sure!!!

Yes, kindness is related to love, I would say.
Kindness is the perfume that the flower that is love gives out to others, and delights them with the smell.
A bad smell is like unkindness, that just brings pain and suffering to all.

I know and people who are constantly posting political content on FB when they know half the people they care about disagree with them I don't understand. By hammering your point over and over again, is not going to change anyone's mind. Many other things to talk about other than that nice things, good things or just anything really but that mess.

Yet there are criticisms of our present and past presidents every day here on MyLot. I wish we'd just go back to talking about the weather and what we had to eat today.
