Blue Skies, Rain & Rose of Sharon

Was out in the yard earlier looking at the blooms. The rose of sharon are still blooming in the front garden. Snapped a few photos of the rose of sharon blooms. I have many photos, but I still enjoy taking more. There were also butterflies and bees visiting them. Sharing another photo with you before all of the blooms are gone for the season. They will continue to grow taller each year. As soon as I came inside, the rain started pouring. I made it back inside just in time. Now the sun is shining again. Back and forth weather right now.

I had a light purple rose of Sharon, but I do like those white ones like yours with a hint of the purple, it is so regal looking.

We had some good rains yesterday. The weather is quite cooler. Even today we had sunshine and temporary humidity but overall its quite pleasant.

Weather can be really weird. We get that a lot here. Sunny one moment and then it would start to rain and then sunny again. We really don’t like it when that happens coz we tend to get sick with the crazy weather.

I would enjoy that kind of weather here now. My sunflowers are doing well, in spite of the drought (I water every day). I will take a picture of them when the time is right.

I noticed when I mowed our yard earlier in the week that our rose of sharon was full of blooms and bees, both made me happy. I hope you will be safe from the storm. We are expecting rain and wind sometime Tues evening into Wed.
