August 28 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day God has made. He made this day to be joyful and give praise for all He did for me and you.
I'm thankful for Saturday. It was a beautiful day today. It only rained once for a short time. The rest of the day the sun has shown bright with a few clouds.
I'm thankful for the little things, food, clothes, a place to live, and friends.
I'm thankful for a peaceful day. With the packing almost finished, I didn't have anything to do. I occupied my day with a few shows.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Destination Love. Today, I was more in editing mode than reading mode. The more I read, the more work I know I need to do with it. The thing is, the story is good the way it is. However, I can't have a universal POV. It will take a lot of work to get it into only two voices. I did it before with Scarred before I knew anything about POV. I can do it again.
I'm thankful the Packers/Bills game was pre-season. We're now 0-3. I can't imagine the Packers doing that bad during the regular season. I will watch the first seasonal game in my new apartment.

@just4him Lovely read as always. I too am thankful for the little things and anything positive that can come my way.
It is 3:40am here. Having a little trouble sleeping so just up MyLotting and watching some Netflix. Thinking of making some tea to which I will also say, I am thankful for tea. It's such a simple thing but it's amazing to me.

One of our state football (Aussie Rules) teams is out of the finals but because of the COVID, they are looking at playing the grand final in WA. The association needs the money that comes from the crowds and we're the only state able to have big numbers.

I am thankful that James (brother-in-law) only went three or four blocks to the golf course and when I contacted sis I found out this evening she was in the process of counting lotto so she could go to lunch and since PUblix gives their full time employees a hour lunch break so she was able to go to the golf course and bring him home and get back to work and didn't lose any time

I'm thankful for having a decent day comfort-wise. It wasn't to hot or too cold. Cloudy, but no rain. I'm thankful Downtown Used Furnture had something we could use to put our microwave on so it didn't have to live on the dishwasher. And, it's accessible now I moved the dishwasher kind of into the living room.
