Sharing A Local Heartwarming Story

In late August, a few weeks ago, a small town nearby was flooded. Twenty people died. Children were included in this number unfortunately. Many lost their homes and businesses. Such a sad situation.
Many in the community and surrounding counties are pitching in to help. The NFL Tennessee Titans football team donated many items to the local high school football team. Equipment, practice pants, practice jerseys, equipment bags, athletic training, and medical supplies, along with a list of other things, to the Tigers football team.
The Titans even gave the school two new sets of washers and dryers and a refrigerator. And they also donated $50,000. to the flood relief fund.
And to top it off, this high school football team will be playing a home game at Nissan Stadium (where the Titans play the NFL games), the Tennessee Titans confirmed. What an exciting time for this football team. They will forever remember this game.
Also, a couple of days ago, Billy Ray Cyrus and Dennis Quaid headlined a two-hour show, along with other country artists. All proceeds went to the Waverly flood relief fund.
Lastly, an anonymous donor paid for all 20 funerals.
Wanted to share some good news with everyone. Kindness goes far in this life.

It's the kindness of others that gives us strength to go on, after a tragic time such as this.

What a heartwarming story, indeed! I know those kids will never forget playing in the big arena! I guess their coach will have to do the Hoosiers speech and point out that the football field is still 100 yards long.

Flooding sucks, but at least some people are putting their extra money to good use.
