Getting the Shot.

Finally, my kids will have their flu shots today, actually in a few minutes. Their pediatrician is on her way here to our house. Apparently they do home service for vaccine but not consultation. Consultation is still online. I checked with her and she have a few supplies left of the flu vaccine so I took my chance there. I inquire into some medical laboratories who offer home service but their supplies is out of stock. I hope everything works out fine. Oh we ate our breakfast already, I cooked egg fried rice and hotdogs for adults and egg and cheese omelet for kids.

That's good how old are your kids. My 14 year old niece had her flu vaccine last month. The clinic of my doctor cousin is just across our house so it's very convenient.

@cacay1 they might feel flu like symptoms but so far, none of my kids feel anything. It might or might not protect them from covid, since it is different from flu virus but then both virus are family, they belong in one group. So I am thinking that it might lessen the severity somehow.

Home service is a nice arrangement. Do you pay for that service.?

It is nice that you can get extra protection for your kids at least to the flu virus which is also very hard to avoid during this wet season in our place.

Your kids will be protected now. Have you also given them the Covid shot? I've no idea how bad it might be where you are but there is talk now of even small children being offered the jab in the UK. Parents choice of course.

@rakski Twice vaccinated can also be carriers apparently, so care continues to be needed as far as masks and distance is concerned. Initially children did not seem so much at risk but since the new deviant versions this is no longer the case. All we can do is try to stop it spreading and devianting again.

@41CombedaleRoad that is true. some here are vaccinated but asymptomatic but are carriers of the virus to those unvaccinated individual in their house

We do not have vaccine yet for kids here but the government are now pre-registering kids who want to be vaccinated. Here, most that I heard is that those unvaccinated are the mostly affected and infected the most right now. It seems that those vaccinated can be the carrier of the virus without knowing it
