Received a package from Walgreen’s today. Everything was fine except for these two large containers of oatmeal.
Thankfully there was nothing spilled. Only the containers were damaged.
I chatted with a representative and they immediately refunded my money. Very good customer service.
This is why if you shop online, you have to shop around and find the sites you can trust.
Another satisfied customer. Those little things mean a lot.

@CarolDM Damaged packaging can happen. A concerned customer care will respond quickly and treat this customer with respect.

Good for you.
Did you have to return the oatmeal though?

@CarolDM I see.
So are the oatmeal packages still good to use though. Looks like it based on the photo.

I never thought of shopping online for things from places like Walgreens or CVS. I guess it's because they're located on literally every intersection in the entire world, where I have no problem stopping in to pick things up. I can literally walk to either from my house, they're less than a 5 minute walk away.

@CarolDM I was an Amazon junkie for the longest time, but I don’t like the way they are killing local businesses across the US, so I rarely buy anything from them these days.

@moffittjc I don't use Amazon either. They have gotten too big.

I don't call in damage. I once ordered cat food and a can was damaged, but the cat food was fine.

I find the larger chain stores are very good that way. One time I even left items in my cart at Shoprite, discovered they were missing when I got home, and they just said to come back and pick up what you left behind. No questions asked.
