Beautiful Weather at the Beach

We got in yesterday at around 3 pm. and I have to say the weather has been excellent so far. The highs have been in the 80's but we have a nice cool breeze off of the Atlantic.
We didn't do a lot today. We slept late because we were both drained from the drive on Saturday. We left around 12:20 am. We timed the driving pretty good considering I forgot about the time change. We ended up stopping in Jacksonville so hubby could do a little shopping at Northern Tool. He had been looking for something that wasn't in stock anywhere near us. He lucked up and found the item and got $100 off.
This afternoon we headed over to St. Augustine and mainly rode around. We did stop at the lighthouse, but didn't get to go in since they were fixing to close for the day. We stopped and got something to eat before heading back to Ormond Beach.

That sounds like a wonderful day. Sunday is a working day for me so i didn’t do anything other than work.
It’s Monday here already and i went out to deliver one of the puppies to its new owner.

We had planned to go to St. Augustine too. Maybe we will complete our trip next year. We watched football. The Cleveland Browns won! I'm glad your weather has been good. Ours has been glorious. 70ish and sunny.

We went later in the day just to scope out the area mainly. It was super crowded around the old collage and night life was everywhere. Parking was bad, you waited on the road for people to leave a spot to get a parking spot--which we didn't do or want to do but we had to wait on traffic on one way road.
The temperatures have been in low to mid 80's and not bad with the breeze!

@LindaOHio It should be. When we would go to Pensacola Beach after kids went back to school it was always very quiet with mainly locals around.

I love spending time at the beach, but I don't like crowds. I usually try to pick a place that isn't too populated when I go. I hope you enjoy yourself.

That is why we drove further. Destin, Panama Beach are only 5 hours away from us but very crowded. This beach is almost deserted although it looks like more people are here now that were when we came in July. Odd!! I would think less since school is in session but there are plenty of school age kids where with their families.

Ooh, I love St. Augustine. There’s a live web cam on You Tube at the Tini Martini Bar near the Bridge of Lions (you can see it in the background), and I have it pulled up on my Apple TV when I just need to see something beautiful. 
As for today, I’ve had lunch and now I’m going to the VA hospital to pick up a “swag bag” from the women veterans open house for Coral. She fell in love with the bag but wouldn’t take mine (even though I have enough of those various swag bags to start my own company 
).

Wow this place is beautiful, Its unfortunate I have never gone to the beach neither did i ever see a sea or an ocean.My country is landlocked we do not have them, we are only surrounded by other countries.

The beaches in the South are always lovely in September. That used to be my favorite time to go to Virginia Beach. Anyway, took my car to get checked and went briefly to Walmart and to a movie.

It is nice that sometimes we're going to visit nature..
but here in the philippines as of now there are restrictions that's why strolling and visiting places are prohibited and limited
