The Dew Is Still on the Roses

Was out in the garden this morning. Noticed the dew was still on the roses. I immediately could hear (in my mind) my Mom singing a song called In the Garden. One of the phrases in the song goes like this... I come to the garden alone, While the dew is still on the roses, And the voice I hear falling on my ear The Son of God discloses. Such a sweet memory. Amazing how that happens when you least expect it. Made my day for sure. She would often sing while cooking and cleaning. Photo is mine.

Your mother was a beautiful example of God's love, in this world! I remember this song also, my father sang it with his rich, bass voice:) The first thought that came to mind, after reading your first sentence

My Mom used to talk with a crow which she used to feed food regularly. To my surprise, the crow responds few of my mom words.

Those are such beautiful roses. I love to walk barefoot on the grass in the morning when the dew drops are still there. My grandfather said that it was very good for our eyesight. I love the lyrics of your mother's song.
