Hope you get your car back soon. Can you get a trolley to carry the shopping? Wheels are a big help and much easier than carrying bags!

@Fleura I just ran into your comment and remembered that I am waiting for a trolley as you call it to come in my mail. I bought a grocery cart that has three wheels on the back- that makes it easier to pull it up steps.

@Fleura I opted for a plain, square wire basket on wheels. That way I can put a couple of good sized bags in if need be. I love the color there. Just love it. Like I said, there are stair climbing wheels on the back.

@sallypup I was thinking of this sort of thing. I have one I used a lot when Big One was little and we had to get two buses each way to work/nursery. You can get all sorts of funky designs now.

I am thankful I got some good surveys on Prolific today, and miracle of miracles they paid quickly. There was another one I was working on..but I didn't understand the concepts Which they didn't explain very well or the rate of progression. It was super annoying and I didn't feel like figuring it out since I had just taken another one a few minutes earlier and wanted a break.

Hope you get your car back soon and be out and about without having to worry about walking or getting a ride. I'm thankful that our weather hasn't been cold enough to need the heat on and yet not warm enough to need the a/c. A few weeks of neither will definitely make my bill a little less.

Yes, I am. I'm doing my best to be patient. I want to call the shop and see if he's had a chance to look at it yet. I know he's busy. My son told me the car is out of his parking lot, so that's a step in the right direction.

@Courtlynn It took me a week and a half to get it towed from the YWCA parking lot. Then it sat at Tires Plus for a few days until I got paid and could move it again to my son's complex. I didn't have Tires Plus work on it. They wanted $356 plus labor for a starter. Their average cost is $75. I put a negative review in BBB on them. Then on Tuesday, I had the car towed to the shop where it's been sitting. The guy is super busy. He doesn't have room for another car in his lot. So, I wait. My son was going to have a friend put in a new starter, but he couldn't get hold of him. So, here I am a month later and still no car.
