Now I Have Every Injection that an "Old-er" American Guy Should

Yesterday was flu shot day, so I was at Walmart Pharmacy at their 9 AM opening. So were about five other people, there for Covid shots or boosters or flu shots. I had sort of expected to be first in line, but was fifth or sixth. We had to fill out little heets of questions with barely enough room for our full names and addresses, then go wait "over by the chairs" for the pharmacist to get to us. We were all masked and talked about the far to many ignorant people in the US who refused any vaccines.
Most of us seemed to agree that Covid will be around for a long time and we will be getting annual injections, just like flu shots.
I am anxious for Anne to get her Covid booster, but we are waiting for her to feel a bit stronger after all those radiation treatments.
My left shoulder is more sore than it was for any of the Covid shots.

At least you got the shot you needed. I guess I am one of the odd ones out, I just never got a flu shot and I am not getting the COVID vac but I also hardly ever leave my apartment,

I wish you well with not getting the Covid vaccine. Florida has had a huge number of cases.

@JamesHxstatic I know it has but I also know I keep mostly to my four walls and if I would venture out most of our streets around here are empty of people most of the time

Millions of folks have taken the vaccines. A very fractional few have been harmed. The flu shot can have a surprising effect for some people.

So I've heard but the proof about the side affects will take a while yet. That vaccine has not been around long enough to get all the real facts.

My worst shot ever was for one of the pneumonia shots they want us "mature adults" to take.

She does, we just want her to feel stronger first. She has a cancer treatment today.
