A week or so ago, I came up with a post about sharks being in the aquarium of my neighbor. I dared to take the picture today. Today being Thursday, Sai Baba will take care of me (hopefully). And tomorrow being Vijayadashmi, I need to get over my fears, at least wage a war on them. So kinda, I dared. Here is the picture...you can see the shark and hammerhead too. Please pray for me and ask god to give me sleep.

I found them! They are called iridescent sharks because they look a bit like a shark, but actually they are freshwater fish from southeast Asia.
We are going to tell you about iridescent shark. You will find information about how to keep, care, feed, choose tank mates for the pangasius shark. Take a look!

You mean to say they are not sharks? They don't eat humans? What about that hammerhead shark..pink one.

@Fleura Oh...I see. May be god sent you over to help me recover from my fears. I have been sleeping during day time off and on because my sleep has been rather disturbed over the last few days. That is also the reason I braved it and went to their place today, took those pictures. May be I should look at their fishes more often. It might help me to go to aquariums with real sharks, and get over my fear. Thank you so much.

@vandana7 No they are definitely not sharks. You can see by their fins, the edges are much more 'fishy'

They will not grow bigger than they are and there is nothing to fear.

I hope not. I certainly hope not... I am terrified of them. I felt relieved that they are 20 years old. They cannot live very long now, can they? Am I being evil? I am scared.

@LadyDuck That is not true. Bull sharks are known to exist in river waters. There are enough bull shark attacks in some of the Indian and Bangladesh rivers, where people step into the river to catch fish. Sometimes they come there, to spawn.

@vandana7 You should not be scared, they are more afraid of you than you are of them. I do not know how long the live. Anyway, those fish are NOT shark, sharks cannot live in fresh water they need salt water.

I was going to say that there are several fish that look sort of like sharks, but I see that @Fleura identified them for you.

Don't be scared of them as they are not going to do anything to you unless they are in the aquarium. BTW you are bold enough to take the picture of them.

@vandana7 Even if that happens, they wouldn't live long enough to bite you once they leave the water.

If sharks scare you so much, why did you go over and look at them, let alone take pictures of the sharks? Those are babies.
